2009 was a strong year for lots of Edmonton bands but the group that takes away the official title of Jam Union’s Band Of The Year, is none other than Christian Hansen & the Autistics.
That may not come as a huge surprise to anyone who’s been following the podcast, but with the release of their hit album ‘Power Leopard‘, they’ve firmly cemented themselves as one of Edmonton’s top independent acts. If these guys don’t get signed to a label in 2010, it will only be because the internets have been such a game changer, that they don’t need to.
