Singing Sanging Songing
Spring cleaning draws nearer as the days get longer and brighter earlier. In anticipation of warmer days ahead I’ve kicked off the podcast with one of my favourite cruising songs of all time off of the Once Upon A Time In Mexico soundtrack.
Today was International Women’s Day, who some apparently believe is absurd. In my humble opinion, it’s totally legit considering the kick ass origins of the celebration. In honour, we are featuring a few of Edmonton’s finest female singer songwriters, in Kaley Bird, Lisa Nicole Grace (Prairie Belles Podcast) and Erica Viegas. Last week Viegas just launched her debut album Where My Heart Goes, as well did one of Edmonton’s top male musician prospects, Jeff Morris.
Yes please. If you’re lucky enough to be in Calgary this Friday night, Factory Party #8 is gonna blow your mind. Here’s an inspiring and informative post for the un-initiated from the people who’ve been putting these parties on for the last few years.
